The iDog

Posted in Robots by Danielle on November 26th, 2005.

The iDog is the perfect companion to your mp3 player. The iDog moves and dances to the musical beat of any mp3 player, or if placed next to a speaker, will be satisfied rocking to that. The iDog expresses itself through patterns of flashing lights on its head, movement of its head and ears, and even growls. The iDog adapts its personality from the type of music playing, and after a long dance, can sleep when a person pats its nose.

The iDog costs $24.99 and is now avaliable in black!

Another useful safety feature is the emergency buttton, which dials 911 after being held down for 3 seconds. Parents also have the option to block all incoming phone calls that are not in the approved phonebook. Accessories, such as the neon coloured firefly shells, are also avaliable for purchase for $12.99.

Sony Bean Mp3 Player

Posted in Mp3 Players by Danielle on November 24th, 2005.

This strange looking fellow, the Sony Bean, has recently been reviewed by CNET, and recieved a 6.4/10.

CNET liked the good battery life (3 minutes of charge = 3 hours of battery), unique USB jack design, and good FM radio reception. However, the playback background hiss and slow transfer rate lowered the Bean’s score to a 6.4.

The Sony Bean is an innovative Mp3 Player with FM radio that has features such as 1 Gb of memory, built in FM radio, built in USB connector, 1 line EL (organic electroluminescence) display, and a fast battery charge (3 minutes of charge for 3 hours of music play). The Sony Bean starts at $139.95.
