And hey- we know that you could BUY another ipod nano (at least the 2 gb version) for that price, but seriously, who wouldn’t want to cover their ipod treasure with sparkly crystals and stylish leather? Creative has announced their new mp3 player the Creative Zen Vision M today, on the Japanese Creative Webpage.

The Vision M has decent stats:
-2.5 inch screen
-30 gb hard drive
-able to play MPEG2, MPEG4 SP (Divx, Xvid), WMV9 videos
-able to play MP3 and WMA audio
-displays jpeg images
-FM radio, radio recording
-battery: 11 hours of music, 4 hours of video
-62 × 104 × 19mm, and weighs 166 grams
-costs $329 USD but is currently only avaliable in Japan for 39,800 yen.

This is pretty sweet. The iTower is a 42 inch tall, 9 inch wide speaker tower, specially designed for the ipod.

The iTower has four aluminum cone speakers, a one inch true dome tweeter, and a one sub woofer in the base. The iTower, though obviously named for the iPod, is compatible with any mp3 player- simply connect it to the iTower via a cable. The iTower is avaliable from Sharper Image via Amazon for 199.95.

The EZAV EMP-700 mp3 player by MobiBlu has been dubbed the “Pebble” for its small shape, and shiny (rock-like?) appearance.

The Pebble plays mp3/wma files, has a fm radio and recorder, a 64 x 48 pixel OLED screen, and voice recorder. And obviously, it is very small, though not quite small enough -with its weight of 0.7 oz- to be one of the world’s smallest mp3 players. No word yet on the memory or cost of this Pebble mp3 player.
