Verizon announced today that the Motorola RAZR v3c will be retailed at Verizon stores starting December 12th.

This updated version of the classic RAZR also has a 1.3 meagpixel camera, EvDO, video on demand, Bluetooth technology, 30 mb of internal memory, as well as video and mp3 capabilities. The RAZR will retail for $200 after a $100 mail in rebate, and a 2 year contract avec Verizon.

The iDJ

Here’s another cool ipod accessory. The iDJ, from Numark, is now avaliable from Amazon via 8th Street Music for $249.95.

The iDJ is a personal mixing console for the ipod. There are two docking stations (that fit all ipods) so you can have double the fun. The docking stations also charge the ipods while you mix up some hits, so you can be sure that your ipod will never die during a great mixing feat.

The Disney Mix Stick

Posted in Mp3 Players by Danielle on December 3rd, 2005.

For $50, the Disney Mix Stick is a great holiday buy. The Disney Mix Stick is a kid friendly mp3 player avaliable in four colourful Disney designs.

The “Forever Princess” Version:

The “Sassy Pixie” (ie Tinkerbell):

And of course, Mickey Mouse:

The Disney Mix Stick comes with 128 mb of memory, but also has a memory expansion slot for up to 1 gb of additional memory. It also has a convenient USB port (simply pull of the end of the Disney Mix Stick to reveal the USB port) and has a battery life of 8-10 hours. CNET gave the Disney Mix Stick a 5.7/10, an average rating, taking off for “mediocre sound quality”, the included earbuds, and no LCD display. But for only 50 dollars, those factors aren’t things that most children would mind. Just get the kid a decent set of headphones, and he’ll (or she’ll) be fine.

Siemens RAZR

Posted in Phones by Danielle on December 2nd, 2005.

Siemens, following in Motorola’s foot steps, is coming out with the SLV140- an extremely thin, RAZR like phone. The SLV140 has the same thinness, design, silver colour, and chemically etched keypad.

The Siemens SLV 140 has GMS triband/ UMTS, a two megapixel that miraculously fits into the slim design, 2.2 inch display, video conferencing, and more file space through micro sd extension.

Bandai’s Swiffer Robot, BN-17

Posted in Robots by Danielle on December 2nd, 2005.

This is another Bandai creation that swiffers your floors for you, so you have extra time to do useful things in the world- like watch tv. The BN-17 not only swiffers merrily away, but also can check your emails, act as a security system, and recognize you.
