Toshiba’s Gigabeat P5: In Gold and Pink
That’s right folks, Toshiba’s Gigabeat P5 is now avaliable “premium”, in gold or in pink!

Technically, the colours are “gorgeous” gold and “sweet” pink, but that doesn’t diminish the specs of this mp3 player. It comes in either 512 mb or 1 gb of memory, has FM radio, MP3 WMA WAV and JPEG support, and 14 hours of battery life. Toshiba’s Gigabeat 5 is being rereleased in Japan for 123 USD, with publicity like this:
Sony Ericsson’s 4gb W950i Walkman
Voila! The W950i 4gb Walkman, by Sony Ericsson.

The new sony walkman, the w950i, has 4 gb of juicy memory (which can store up to 4,000 songs). Other cool features include tri-band GSM, a large QVGA screen, 0.6 inch thickness, and UMTS. It also has video playback mode, a built in FM radio, and mp3/wma capabilities. Cheers for the sleek, “Mystic Purple” colour scheme. Talk time croaks around 7.5 hours (GSM) or 2.5 hours (UMTS).
iPod on Sale at 7-11
Apple and 7-11 are joining forces to introduce ipods and itunes, which will sell at your local 7-11.
Aerogel for Sale!
United Nuclear now is selling Aerogel, also called “frozen smoke” because of its hazy blue appearance. Aerogel is the lightest (weighing only three times the weight of air) and lowest density material in the world. Composed of 99.8% air, Aerogel is chemically similar to glass.

Aerogel holds 15 records in the Guiness World Book of Records, and is also used by NASA in the Stardust mission. A small piece of Aerogel can be yours for $40, and a large block for $125.
