According to the Inquirer, a Dell laptop exploded at a conference in Osaka, Japan. A witness managed to snap these pictures with his camera phone, and does affirm that the exploding computing device in question is, indeed, a Dell. His advice? “Don’t try anything courageous/stupid, stay away, away, away!”. Dell is currently looking into the Spontaneous Laptop Combustion issue.

See! Dell sucks! Don’t be cheap guys. Life is worth more than what you save buying a Dell. Get a HP or a Sony instead.

Guy wrote “Get a HP or a Sony instead” but the battery in that Dell was made by Sony! At least that is what is being reported by the BBC.

    Hahaha to Guy!

Why pay Sony prices for anything? - the most overpriced goods in the world and by far - not the best!

Poor Dell - I reckon Sony did this on purpose!

It dosn’t matter what computer it’s in… it’s made by SONY, and therefore, SONY should be the ones doing the recall under they’re own name and not trashing DELL.
SONY are, and always have been cr@p.

Yea Macs are overpriced and so as Sony. More Dell laptops are exploding than any other brands which could either be because of Dell’s system design and not just the battery’s or that there are more Dell users than any other brand.
