T-Mobile’s Limited Edition Sidekick 3s
We’ve already caught a glimps of LRG’s limited edition Sidekick 3, but here’s Diane von Furstenburg’s limited edition Sidekick 3.
Diane von Furstenburg’s Sidekick 3 sports a bold, black paint job, with hot pink key accents and red lips around the screen for contrast. Besides the appearance, the Sidekick 3’s specifications remain the same. Both Diane von Furstenburg’s limited edition Sidekick 3 and LRG’s green limited edition Sidekick 3 should be available online and in store October 30 for purchase. However, you should expect the price to be bumped up about $50 to have a limited edition version.

We’ve also been getting questions as to why T-mobile is releasing a bSidekick/b so soon after the LX came out. Well, we have answers to both these questions and more. The new bSidekick/b I don’t think will be a blimited edition/b LX. The LX already released in 2 colors, and the Slide is being released in Black, and red. I don’t think they would add more colors. The T-Mobile bSidekick/b (sometimes called "bSidekick/b 2008", since it lacks a more distinctive name) takes an important step forward just by slimming down. bT-Mobile's/b running a special pre-sale at its store at 3rd and Market, starting at 6pm PT...which is a whole 11 hours before the G1 is available elsewhere in the country (whoop!). This is not blimited edition/b fine art. It's a consumer device. It's made to be mass produced. If previous experience with bSidekick/b is any guidance, it will be even cheaper in November. Additional $50-100 rebates for new customers. b.../b
