Sony’s Bendable OLED TV

Posted in Tvs, Sony, Freakin' Awesome by Danielle on May 27th, 2007.

Sony has been showing off world-changing technology: a bendable OLED tv that’s so thin you could fit it in your pocket! This TV screen is 2.5 inches wide, and an amazing 3 mm thick. While bending, the Sony TV still shows a perfect picture. There are so many ways to use this bendable TV: some as frivolous as having TVs on t-shirts, and some as serious as military applications. Currently, however, this is only a concept idea.

The Belkin USB Hub is a very useful product. It works with a router to provide wireless access, so that you can share all your USB gadgets through a wireless network. If, for example, you hook up an external hard drive to the Belkin USB Hub, then you can access that external hard drive from any computer or laptop with wireless.
(Compton, CA) - May 15, 2007 – The Belkin Network USB Hub works with your existing wireless router to give you wireless access to printers, media readers, and external hard drives.

The Hub simulates a direct USB connection that makes your computer think that the devices on the network are directly attached to the computer. Special caching techniques allow for support of high-speed USB devices and isochronous transfers at full speed. The software also allows you to easily transfer control of USB devices on the Hub between computers.belkin-usb-2.jpgAVAILABILITY

Intel Announces the World’s Thinnest Laptop

Posted in Notebooks, Intel by Danielle on May 25th, 2007.

Intel has succeeded in creating the world’s thinnest laptop. This laptop is, in fact, only a quarter of an inch bigger than the morola RAZR- quite an accomplishment! It also weighs only 2.25 pounds! Unfortunately, this is just a prototype, and we have no current knowledge on when this laptop will be released in the future, or the estimated price (although it is probably quite high).
