Panasonic FX-100 Camera
A new, slim camera from Panasonic is the FX-100 12.2 megapixel camera that takes HD wide screen photos. The FX-100 has 16:9 widescreen still and video capabilities (VGA, WVGA, and wide aspect HD), a 2.5 inch LCD screen, 3.6x digital zoom, a 28 mm wide angle Leica lens, Mega Optical Image Stabilizer (Mega O.I.S.), a SDHC/SD Memory Card Slot, 20 scene modes, and 27 mb of internal memory. It also has anti-shake technology, and might have ISO up to 6400 in burst mode (with the ability to take photos within a lapse of 0.009 seconds). The launch date for the Panasonic FX-100 will be in July, and the camera will be available in black or silver.
Casio W52CA and Exilim W53CA Cell Phones!
Casio announced their latest phones- the W52CA and the Exilim W53CA cell phones. The Casio W52CA has a 2.6 inch QVGA LCD screen, a 2 megapixel camera with 10x digital zoom, InfaRed, 100 mb of internal memory, and a microSD slot. The W52CA also has 1Seg Technology, which allows you to watch EZ-Television on the go. The Casio Exilim W53CA is a mix between a cell phone and a high end digital Exilim camera. It has a 2.8 inch LCD screen, a 5 megapixel camera with 28 mm wide angle and auto focus, High Speed InfaRed, and a microSD slot. Unfortunately for us Americans, it looks like these phones are set to drop only in Australia, for the time being.
Motorola Q9 Smartphone
The 11.8 mm thick Motorola Q9 has Windows Mobile 6, Quad-Band (EDGE/GPRS) functionality, video capture and playback at 30 fps, HSDPA, Bluetooth A2DP, 256 mb of internal memory, a microSD slot, a 320 x 240 display, and a 2 megapixel camera. The Motorola Q9 is rumoured to become available in the second quarter of this year, but it remains uncertain if Motorola will release the Q9 to the US via carriers.
Nokia 8600 Rumoured “Luna” Phone!
The Nokia 8600 “Luna” high fashion phone has been rumoured to have a 2 megapixel camera for photos and videos, mp3 player, and 1 GB of internal memory. Leaked photos continue to fuel this rumour, yet we have no further information on the phone itself, its price, or launch date.
Sony Ericsson T650 Candybar
Sony Ericsson packs a whole lot into the 12.5 mm thick T650 Candybar phone. The T650 boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G, a 1.9 inch screen (covered by mineral glass to enhance colours, add protection, and increase the viewing angle), a media player, and Bluetooth. A Dual UMTS 2100 -GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 phone, the T650 is available in either Growing Green or Midnight Blue. The price of the T650 is currently unknown, but you can expect this candybar to launch in the third quarter of 2007.
