Levi’s Begins Making Phones
In an either tactical or highly confused move, Levi’s Jeans has decided now to produce a cell phone. In line with Levi’s target group of fashionable teenagers, Levi’s phone will also be fashionable. The phone has a camera, media player, and is available in black, metallic silver, metallic copper, shiny silver, or metallic sand. Pricing and availability are still unknown, but look for the Levi’s phone to launch in Europe during September. “Technology is at the heart of today’s youth culture and mobile phones are the ultimate accessory. Adding a mobile phone to our collection is a natural progression for Levi’s, a brand that is driven to meet the desires of young people”, says You Nguyen, Senior Vice President of Levi’s.
