iRiver Disney MPlayer Mp3 Player
iRiver is building this adorable mp3 player for Disney, which will be called the MPlayer (we assume the “M” stands for Mickey Mouse). No word on specs, but we do know this mp3 player will have flash memory ranging from 512 mb to 2 GB. The launch date is later this month, but the price is currently unknown.
The Samsung SGH-E950 Slider
Samsung announced three new phones at CommunicAsia: the SGH-E950, the SGH-E840, and the SGH-J600. The Samsung SGH-E950 is the sucessor to the SGH-E900. The E950’s features include a 3 megapixel camera, an integrated music player (MP3, AAC+, WMA) , an FM tuner, a 2 inch 260K colour LCD screen, a 1.2 inch 65k colour OLED display, 70 mb of internal memory, a microSD slot, and Bluetooth A2DP. We don’t yet know the exact release date, but the price will be around 520 USD.
A New Breed of Sidekicks?
Here are two new concept pictures of the Sidekick, as reported by the BGR. The Sidekick RAZR is referred to as the Sidekick Slide, while the Sidekick is what is generally referred to as the Sidekick 4. We just have these pics, but we’ll keep you updated! Be on the look out for these new Sidekicks to launch at T-Mobile within a year or so.
The BlackBerry Pearl 2 (”Komet”)
Behold the BlackBerry Pearl 2, codenamed the “Komet”. Obviously the sucessor to the BlackBerry Pearl, the Blackberry Pearl 2 has some mighty impressive specs! These specifications include a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash improvements and 6x digital zoom, colours in red, blue, gold, black, Windows Media DRM & MTP support, and a built in 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Komet will also have an external MicroSD slot, WiFi, 64 mb of internal memory, Bluetooth, 4.5 hours of talktime/15 days standby, and an improved design. No word on launch date or pricing yet, but we’ll keep you informed!!
Samsung’s YP-U3 DAPs
Samsung rolled out a new mp3 player- the YP-U3. The YP-U3 has a built-in USB port that can connect directly with a computer. Other features include an FM tuner, availability in five colours (pink, green, white, black, blue), and differing memory capacities (either 1, 2, or 4 GB). The YP-U3 is now available and has a price of €129 (174 USD) for the 4GB model.
