New iMacs, as Expected

Apple is not surprising us these days. They just announced the new iMacs, made from aluminum and glass: all in one desktops with a slim redesign. The iMacs will be available in two sizes: the 20 inch and the 24 inch. In addition to the usual Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, Firewire 400/800, iSight, the iMacs do, in fact, have the rumoured new keyboards. You can get up to a 2.8 GHz Core 2 Extreme processor, ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro Graphics, a TB of storage, and 8x SuperDrives and 1GB RAM are included for all models. Here are the specifications and costs for the new versions:

From the error message, I bexpected/b that it had trouble with assigning first which is a const string to a const string - no problem there, so I don't know what's going on. There is a note here suggesting issues with reference to const b.../b - biMac/b G5 - Firewire, ethernet not working
If my biMac/b is left unattended, the screen goes black as bexpected/b but the fan starts to run at speed even when few programs have been launched. The computer then refuses to wake up and I have to turn the power off by holding down the on b.../b - X Snow Leopard vs Windows 7
The OS X update, bexpected/b to ship in June 2009, will be optimized for multi-core processors and enable "breakthrough amounts of RAM -- up to a theoretical 16TB." Apple also promised a bnew/b, modern media platform with QuickTime X. b.../b
