I’d like to introduce you to the mother of all OLEDs. Sony’s latest OLED is a mere 0.3mm thick (or 0.0118 inches!). Details are sparse, but we know that the OLED will have a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Allegedly, the picture is amazingly crisp. Sony plans on having these OLEDs on the market in 2-3 years. Coloware recently extended their service to PSPs. Now, consumers have the option of buying a PSP through Coloware and having it customized. These PSPs will start at $269. Alternately, a PSP fan could send in their own PSP and have it colored for only $99. For this price, you get to choose a combination of 35 custom colors for the front, back, tray, logo area, and left and right buttons. To switch up your PSP’s look, click here.

Sony Ericsson Accidentally Leaks Z780

If you squint really closely, you might be able to make out the details of Sony Ericsson’s up and coming Z780 flip phone. Some features include a 240×320 pixel QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, and NetFront 3.4 browser. We also know that the Z80 is available in Amethyst Silver or Grand Onyx. Allegedly, there will be location-based service (perhaps even integrated GPS). Finally, the Z780 will be available in two versions: the Z780i for Europe and the Z780a for North America. No word on pricing or launch date yet, but I’d imagine the launch date being no later than quarter four of 2008.
