Sony Ericsson G705 Slider Leaked!

Well, hello beautiful! Sony Ericsson has a gorgeous slider phone in development: the G705. The G705 slider will feature GPS, Wi-Fi, a 2.4″ display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and 128 mb of internal memory. Rumours are that the slider will drop first in Arabic nations, but we’ll know more in a couple of weeks, when Sony holds an official press conference. [Via se-nse]


Energy Buckets Conserve Energy

Developer Stefano Merlo designed these Energy Buckets to collect and store energy in the same way that people in the past collected and stored rain water. After sufficient exposure to light, the Energy Buckets brighten any darkened area. Although these Energy Buckets are only a concept right now, it will be interesting to see the idea develop further (and perhaps in a more practical manner). Read more here!

Fujitsu’s Lifebook U2010 Leaked Specs!

My hat’s off to this Vietnamese forum. One of their members managed to grab a hold of Fujitsu’s upcoming Lifebook U2010 and fully investigate it! We now know that the U2010 will sport an Atom CPU (either at 1.6 or 1.8 GHz), a 5.6″ 1024×768 display, 1 GB of RAM, an 80 GB Hard Drive, a 3G Radio, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Additionally, this lilliputian UMPC will weigh under 680 grams (1.5 pounds)! We don’t yet know where or when the U2010 Lifebook will be launched, but we do know that it will cost around $1300.

Dell Inspiron 13 Marketed to Thrifty College Students

Although the Dell Inspiron 13 may be lacking in bells and whistles, it’s a perfect work laptop for those on a limited budget. While the base model boasts a 13″ screen, 8-in-1 media card reader, and a slot loading DVD player, you’ll have to cough up some more dough to get Wi-Fi, a webcam, and/or Bluetooth. A $699 version of Dell’s Inspiron 13 will retail at Walmart on August 3rd; later in August, you’ll be able to configure the Inspiron 13 for yourself at dell.com. Read more here!
