The Samsung H1000 is a WiBro phone, which means it has broadband wireless capabilities similar to WiFi but over greater areas (up to 5 km). This phone network is currently being set up in Korea. As you can see, the Samsung H1000 has a QWERTY keyboard, and when paired with the WiBro network, is a model for efficiency.

Sony Ericsson announced their newest S500 phone today! This sweet looking 14 mm thick slider has a 2 megapixel camera, a 2 inch screen, a media player, expandable memory, and GSM/EDGE/GPRS for internet browsing. No word yet on the price, but the S500 should be available in the US around the third quarter.
The FCC uncovered these glam shots of the Sony Ericsson K18 Cybershot Phone for us. The K18 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with zoom, autofocus, brightness control, and BestPic shooting mode (that captures 9 pictures in a row). It also supports Memory Stick Micro (M2), and has a USB cord for transferring data. We don’t yet know the release date, or the price of the K18, but as it just passed through the FCC, we can only think that it will arrive here soon.
