Say hello to the world’s smallest karaoke machine. Measuring a mere 2.75″x2.75″x2.75″ cube, the Tomy Hi-Kara Karaoke Machine has a 2.4 inch screen that displays song lyrics and animated graphics. In order to actually use the machine, you’ll have to download songs from the Hi-Kara website. There are two microphone/headset devices, and the Karaoke Machine is available in pink or white. The MPIO MO100 DAP plays/displays MP3/WMA/SMV/JPEG/BMP formats. It has a 1.8 inch screen with 128×160 resolution and 65k colours, FM radio, and voice recording capabilities. Right now, the MPIO MO100 is only available in 1 GB, but will also be available in 2 GB and 4 GB. It has USB connectivity, and 12 hours of continuous playback. Even though the MPIO MO100 may not dazzle and amaze you, it at least shines in the press photo.

It appears that Sony is trying to copy Apple’s popular “I’m a PC, and I’m a Mac” ads.

On Sony’s Australian Website, Sony is marketing itself as “the non-pc, pc”, whatever that’s supposed to mean. It also displays the pictures of the familiar “I’m a Mac” and “I’m a PC” figures. Anyways, let’s just wait and see if Sony’s campaign to market itself as a stylish, fun-loving, adolescent girl is sucessful.
