Casio’s EXILIM EX-Z150 point and shoot camera raises the bar with its stunning 3.0″ LCD screen. Additionally, the EX-Z150 sports CCD-shift image stablization, a 28-mm wide angle lens, 4x optical zoom, a 8.1 megapixel 1/2.5 inch CCD, face detection, and You-Tube video capture mode (640×480 at 30fps for up to ten minutes). If you have a predilection for touchscreen phone devices, you might want to check out the Samsung Armani P520. The classy P520 has a gorgeous 2.6 inch display, Bluetooth 2.0 and AD2P, a 3.15 megapixel camera, microSD storage, and Tri-Band GSM with EDGE connectivity. A huge competitor for the iPhone, the Samsung Armani P520 is sure to snag tons of stylish consumers. The release date and price are currently unknown.
The Samsung Yepp YP-P2 Touch Screen DAP has 8 GB of flash memory, a 3 inch 428×240 pixel touch screen, MP3, WMV, WMA, H.264 (MPEG4 AVC), MPEG-4 (ASF) Support, Bluetooth, an integrated speaker and mic, and FM radio. To top it all off, this music player is an astonishing 100x52x9.2mm thick. No word on pricing or launch date, yet.
LG’s KE850 Chocolate phone with a touch screen won the International Forum Design’s Product Design Award for 2007.
Very little is known about the KE850. All we know is that the phone has a large touch screen, up to 240 x 400 pixels, and that the KE850 might perhaps be branded a Chocolate Phone. With the touch screen, the LG KE850 has little need for hard buttons, save the “send” and “end” buttons, and a few keys on the sides.
Nokia is currently developing the “Aeon” full screen phone. This “aeon” cell phone will have an interactive, touch screen that covers the entire front of the cell phone, and can display different programs for different purposes (ie a number key pad). If Nokia ever sold this phone, I woud love to buy one.
