BlackBerry SYNC got their hands on some sweet leaked photos of the BlackBerry 9500 (aka the BlackBerry Thunder). The BlackBeery 9500 boasts a 360×240 touchscreen and also has wireless music dowload capabilities. Theoretically, the BlackBerry 9500 will sport OS 4.7, as well as a portrait media player for watching videos and photos taken by the BlackBerry.

Long-Awaited Blackberry Bold Announced!

The Blackberry Bold (aka Blackberry 9000) will be available this summer! AT&T is the first carrier, but the Blackberry Bold will also be sold in a 1700 MHz model that will run on T-Mobile’s networks. Features include 1 GB of internal memory with encryption, Tri-band HSDPA, interchangeable colour plates, 5 hours of talk-time/13 days standby time, integrated GPS, WiFi, a full QWERTY keyboard, a sleek new design, a half-VGA LCD colour screen, and a 624-MHz Marvell Tavor PXA930 processor. BlackBerry 8820 Launches

It’s a sad day for BlackBerry 8800 users world-wide when the Blackberry 8820 launches. You can now buy this upgrade to the 8800 (basically, it has WiFi) for $299 from AT&T with a two year contract. Sprint Might Launch the Blackberry 2 on Thanksgiving Weekend

According to the BGR, Sprint is looking to launch the Blackberry Pearl 2 during Thanksgiving Weekend (Black Friday Weekend). This updated Pearl will have integrated GPS, but sadly no WiFi. Anyways, this will help Sprint start off the holiday season with good profit margins, and will brighten many a Blackberry Pearl fan’s dreary winter day.

RIM BlackBerry 8820

RIM has officially announced the BlackBerry 8820, their first smartphone with integrated WiFi. The BlackBerry 8820 is also the company’s thinnest BlackBerry to date, and also has GPS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, and an expansion slot that accepts microSD cards and microSDHC cards.  The BlackBerry 8820 will be available via AT&T: the price and launch date are still unknown.
