The BlackBerry Pearl 2 (”Komet”)

Behold the BlackBerry Pearl 2, codenamed the “Komet”. Obviously the sucessor to the BlackBerry Pearl, the Blackberry Pearl 2 has some mighty impressive specs! These specifications include a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash improvements and 6x digital zoom, colours in red, blue, gold, black, Windows Media DRM & MTP support, and a built in 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Komet will also have an external MicroSD slot, WiFi, 64 mb of internal memory, Bluetooth, 4.5 hours of talktime/15 days standby, and an improved design. No word on launch date or pricing yet, but we’ll keep you informed!!
The BlackBerry 8300 Curve

RIM has officially announced the BlackBerry 8300 “Curve”. This BlackBerry has a 2 megapixel camera with integrated flash and 5x digital zoom, an A2DP Bluetooth Audio Profile, a redesigned media player and desktop media manager, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD expansion, 64 mb of internal ROM, and a QWERTY keyboard. Leaked photos of the Red BlackBerry Pearl–or the CranBerry, as some fans are fondly calling it– have surfaced on the web. Ain’t it purty?

BlackBerry 8800 Launched
After all those leaked pictures, RIM’s BlackBerry 8800 smart phone has finally lauched!

The specifications of the 0.55 inch thick BlackBerry 8800 include the classic QWERTY keyboard, quad-band EDGE, a QVGA display, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, 64 mb of internal memory, and a microSD slot. The battery life is pretty good for this device- 22 hours of standby, or 5 hours of talk time. We have no word yet on the price or the exact launch date for the BlackBerry 8800, but we do expect it to launch sometime this month on AT&T.
Blackberry Pearl in Pearl White Laucnhes
The Blackberry Pearl in Pearl, or white, is launching today at T-Mobile stores.

T-Mobile users should expect to pay $150 for this phone with a 2 year service contract for the White Blackberry Pearl. The Blackberry Pearl (in White) is available either in stores, or online (via T-Mobile.com).
