Leaked Wii Developer Pictures
Engadget was sent some developer pictures of Nintendo’s Wii. While the Wii probably won’t be available in this shade of green, it’s nice to see some photos of the Wii that aren’t professionally taken by Nintendo.

Nintendo Wii Launch Date and Price!

Nintendo’s Wii will be released in North America November 19th, for a price of $250. It will later be released in Japan, December 2nd, for a price of 25,000 yen. Nintendo plans on having 25 games available, and four million consoles shipped by the end of this year.
Nintendo’s Mp3 Player
Nintendo appears ready to release an adapter that would transform the DS Lite and Gameboy Advance into mp3 players. Check out this advertisement from the Leipzig Game Convention in Germany.

With this adapter, it looks like your DS Lite (to be inserted into Slot 2) or Gameboy Advance will have up to 2 GB of memory through use of SD cards, hold up to 500 songs, and have another headphone port. All the information relating to the music (title, song name, album, and perhaps cover art) will be displayed on the screen. From hearsay, it appears that this adapter will be released on October 6th (for Europe, at least) and will cost approximately €30 (about $40 USD). You’ll also be able to choose between different skins, with one being, of course, Mario.
Nintendo’s DS Lite- Now in Pink!
Nintendo’s DS Lite is now available in pink, or as they call it “Noble Pink”. (What exactly makes a pink “noble”, I wonder?). This is probably an attempt to attract more girl gamers to the DS Lite.

The Pink DS Lite will cost 16,800 Yen ($144 USD) and will be released to overseas nations (nations other than Japan) on July 20th. The Nintendo DS Lite recieved a 8/10 from CNET and a 4.5/5 from PC Magazine.
As Cnet wrote “The good: Higher-resolution display than Game Boy Advance SP; backward compatible with older GBA games; Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities.
The bad: Lack of third-party support for the system; susceptible to scratches and smudges.
Nintendo Revolution Available by Thanksgiving
Nintendo’s President Satoru Iwata announced that the Nintendo Revolution will be available before Thanksgiving, in order to boost sales due to the Holidays.
The much anticipated sucessor to the Game Cube is also rumoured to cost under $200, which is a reasonable price for a gaming console.
