Voodoo Envy 133 is World’s Thinnest Laptop

At a slender 0.70″ thick, the Voodoo Envy 133 replaces the Macbook Air’s hefty 0.76″ to claim the title of “World’s Thinnest Laptop [for now]“. The Voodoo Envy 133 is available in black or white, weighs 3.4 lbs, has a 13.3″ display, and starts at $2,099. Other features include Ethernet, an 64 GB solid state drive, Carbon Fiber casing, Wifi, a multiple gesture keypad, an integrated webcam, an external optical disk drive, and a back lit keyboard. Wow, I’m envious. The Voodoo Envy 133 will be available on June 20th!

MusicPad Pro Tablet Aids the Poor, Starving Artist in You

The MusicPad Pro Tablet seems like a useful electronic for composing musicians. The MusicPad Pro has a 12.1″ TFT colour touch screen display, 1024×768 resolution, 64 mb of internal memory, video/audio out, 2 USB ports, and is extremely portable. With the MusicPad Pro, you gain access to FreeHand’s online store of downloadable sheet music, where prices range from $1.95 to $59.95. Although the MusicPad Pro is aimed at musicians, I would imagine that not many musicians would be able to afford it at its hefty price of $899. Click here for more details.
Lenovo X300 Faces Off Macbook Air

Oh, it’s on, Apple. Lenovo is now marketing their super-thin X300 laptop as having the “art of thin.” Additionally, they claim that there is “no compromise” and that “everything else is just hot air.” Touche, Lenovo, Touche. Besides that, the Lenovo X300 is your average ultra-portable, complete with a solid state hard drive, 13.3 inch display, DVD burner, GPS, 2 GB of RAM, and a 1.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. It’s also 0.73 inches thick, and weighs between 2.9-3.5 pounds. Unfortunately, prices start at $2,400. For more info, click here (CNET gave the X300 a 8.5/10).
ASUS Eee PC 900: Now with Windows XP!

Engadget was lucky enough to get their hands on ASUS’ newest 9 inch (well, technically 8.9 inch) Eee PC. The 9 inch screen (the biggest yet for the tiny Eee PC line) has a resolution of 1024 x 600, which is approximately the same resolution as the 7 inch model. Luckily for Windows junkies, the 9 inch Eee PC is available with either Windows XP or Linux as an operating system. Additionally, the Eee 900 has 1 GB of RAM, up to 12 GB of storage space, and 3.5 hours of battery life. As an ultra-portable laptop, the Eee 900 is slightly larger than its peers, weighing in it 2.2 pounds. The ASUS Eee PC 900 will launch in Europe in Early Summer 2008 for a price of 400 Euros (631 USD), and will eventually come over to the States, as well.
