Samsung i8510 8 Megapixel Cameraphone

Samsung recently announced the i8510: an amazing 8.0 Megapixel Cameraphone! Also known as INNOV8, the Samsung i8510 will launch in August for Europe and in September for the rest of the world. The Samsung i8510 proudly features HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (900/2100), EDGE / GPRS (850/900/1800/1900), Symbian OS V9.3, a 2.8-inch VGA 16M TFT LCD screen, a 8MP CMOS with Auto Flash and Dual Power LED, Image Stabilizion, Face Detecting Software, and Auto-Panorama Shot. Nokia N96 to Launch October 1st!

Although rumours are that the Nokia N96 will initially be a UK-only release, most tech junkies will be able to live vicariously through articles and video reviews. After all, we already know that the N96 will feature 16 GB of internal memory, microSDHC support (for up to 16 GB of memory), a dual-slide design, a built-in kickstand for video watching, a 5 megapixel Zeiss camera with dual LED flash, GSM, HSDPA, a 2.8″ TFT display, 128 mb of RAM, and a Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU. T-Mobile’s Sidekick Goes Back to Basics

T-Mobile abandons the frills with their latest Sidekick, which is named simply “the Sidekick.” Even so, this Sidekick has progressed a ton since the original Sidekick in 2002. The Sidekick sports a 400×240 WQVGA screen, a 2 megapixel camera, video recording, Bluetooth 2.0, and a microSD slot. The Sidekick is also the first Sidekick to come with customizable shells, which are available from SidekickShells for $14.99. Sony Ericsson G705 Slider Leaked!

Well, hello beautiful! Sony Ericsson has a gorgeous slider phone in development: the G705. The G705 slider will feature GPS, Wi-Fi, a 2.4″ display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and 128 mb of internal memory. Rumours are that the slider will drop first in Arabic nations, but we’ll know more in a couple of weeks, when Sony holds an official press conference. [Via se-nse]
