Colorware Customization For the PSP

Coloware recently extended their service to PSPs. Now, consumers have the option of buying a PSP through Coloware and having it customized. These PSPs will start at $269. Alternately, a PSP fan could send in their own PSP and have it colored for only $99. For this price, you get to choose a combination of 35 custom colors for the front, back, tray, logo area, and left and right buttons. To switch up your PSP’s look, click here.
Sony Star Wars Darth Vadar PSP-2000

In a brilliant marketing move, Sony is releasing a limited edition Star Wars PSP that has the likeness of Darth Vadar upon it that is sure to attract fan boys world wide. The Star Wars Bundle, which costs $199, includes the PSP and the new Star Wars Battlefield game. If you’re a bit short on cash, you can try to win one in Joystiq’s latest contest.
Sony PSP- in Champagne!!
Sony is planning on releasing a new colour of the PSP.

The brand new colour will be champagne, or gold as some call it. Certainly it’s about time that Sony updated the PSP. We’ve been stuck with plain old black since the PSP’s launch in March 2005. The console will go on sale in Japan for $175 USD on February 22nd.

PSP2: PSP with a 60 GB Hard Drive
Rumours are that the PSP2 will have a 60 GB Samsung Hard Drive.

The photo above is from Samsung’s presentation of their new N-Series 1.8 inch hard drive, and some speculate that a 60 GB version of the hard drive will be put into the PSP2. We’ll just have to wait and see what Sony plans to use in their PSP upgrade.
PSP in Three New Colours!
Sony’s remarketing the PSP in three fresh colours, this month- blue, silver, and pink. These colourful PSPs will be available in Japan starting November 22, but it’s still uncertain whether these are limited edition PSPs, how much they’ll cost, and if they’ll be internationally available.
