Samsung recently announced the i8510: an amazing 8.0 Megapixel Cameraphone! Also known as INNOV8, the Samsung i8510 will launch in August for Europe and in September for the rest of the world. The Samsung i8510 proudly features HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (900/2100), EDGE / GPRS (850/900/1800/1900), Symbian OS V9.3, a 2.8-inch VGA 16M TFT LCD screen, a 8MP CMOS with Auto Flash and Dual Power LED, Image Stabilizion, Face Detecting Software, and Auto-Panorama Shot. Samsung probably should have waited a couple of days to announce the i900, a touchscreen iPhone clone, instead of announcing it on the same day the new iPhone was announced. Despite such a planning blunder, the i900 is really quite a nice phone. The Samsung i900 boasts a 3.2 inch 240 x 400 display, quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/19900 MHz), 7.2 Mb/s HSDPA, EDGE, WiFi, a 5 megapixel CMOS camera with autofocus, geotagging, panorama mode, and face detection, Samsung TouchWiz User Interface, an integrated accelerometer, FM radio, and availability in 8 GB and 16 GB versions. The classy P520 has a gorgeous 2.6 inch display, Bluetooth 2.0 and AD2P, a 3.15 megapixel camera, microSD storage, and Tri-Band GSM with EDGE connectivity. A huge competitor for the iPhone, the Samsung Armani P520 is sure to snag tons of stylish consumers. The release date and price are currently unknown.

Fear not BlackJack Fans, the BlackJack’s successor, the i617, will soon be launched on AT&T Networks. Currently, we don’t know all of the features that the i617 will possess; yet, we’re sure that it will have HSDPA 850 /1900, Windows Mobile 6, Bluetooth, an integrated mp3 and video player, and a 2 megapixel camera. WiFi might also be included in the works. Launch date is in Q4 of 2007, and price is unknown at this time.

Armani couldn’t let Prada have all the fun, so they came out with the Armani phone with Samsung. Armani’s fashionable SGH-P520 phone has tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM, a 3 megapixel camera, a 2.6 inch 262k colour QVGA touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, a microSD slot, full Internet browser, and support for H.263, AAC/MP3/WMA audio and MPEG-4 video. This Armani phone also comes with tactile feedback (or Haptic Feedback) that gives a mild vibration when users touch the screen; thus, supposedly mimicking the tactile senses of real buttons. The Armani phone measures a slim 87.5 x 54.5 x 10.5-mm and weighs only 85-grams. The Armani phone will launch in Europe before the end of 2007 for an estimated price of €400 (557 USD).
