Samsung’s BlackJack II: the i617

Fear not BlackJack Fans, the BlackJack’s successor, the i617, will soon be launched on AT&T Networks. Currently, we don’t know all of the features that the i617 will possess; yet, we’re sure that it will have HSDPA 850 /1900, Windows Mobile 6, Bluetooth, an integrated mp3 and video player, and a 2 megapixel camera. WiFi might also be included in the works. Launch date is in Q4 of 2007, and price is unknown at this time.

Samsung’s Armani Phone Comes With Tactile Feedback

Armani couldn’t let Prada have all the fun, so they came out with the Armani phone with Samsung. Armani’s fashionable SGH-P520 phone has tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM, a 3 megapixel camera, a 2.6 inch 262k colour QVGA touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, a microSD slot, full Internet browser, and support for H.263, AAC/MP3/WMA audio and MPEG-4 video. This Armani phone also comes with tactile feedback (or Haptic Feedback) that gives a mild vibration when users touch the screen; thus, supposedly mimicking the tactile senses of real buttons. The Armani phone measures a slim 87.5 x 54.5 x 10.5-mm and weighs only 85-grams. The Armani phone will launch in Europe before the end of 2007 for an estimated price of €400 (557 USD).


Samsung Yepp YP-P2 Touch Screen Music Player

The Samsung Yepp YP-P2 Touch Screen DAP has 8 GB of flash memory, a 3 inch 428×240 pixel touch screen, MP3, WMV, WMA, H.264 (MPEG4 AVC), MPEG-4 (ASF) Support, Bluetooth, an integrated speaker and mic, and FM radio. To top it all off, this music player is an astonishing 100×52x9.2mm thick. No word on pricing or launch date, yet.

Samsung i85 Multi-Purpose Camera

Samsung launched the i85 8 Megagpixel PMP Camera. At 3.74″x2.42″x0.8″, the i85 is roughly the size of a credit card, and is sure to turn heads with its sleek design. Additionally, the i85 has 5x optical zoom, Face Detection, ISO up to 1600, Advanced Shake Reduction, 256 mb of internal memory, SD/SDHC memory card support, a 3.0 inch LCD screen, a 2.5mm headphone jack, and can capture 800×592 MPEG4 videos. As a PMP, the Samsung i85 can playback MPEG4 videos, or MP3 music.
