Well, hello beautiful! Sony Ericsson has a gorgeous slider phone in development: the G705. The G705 slider will feature GPS, Wi-Fi, a 2.4″ display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and 128 mb of internal memory. Rumours are that the slider will drop first in Arabic nations, but we’ll know more in a couple of weeks, when Sony holds an official press conference. [Via se-nse]

Sony Ericsson added a low-powered camera phone to their Snapshot phone line today. The S302 only has a 2.0 megapixel camera, but it also has 2.5x digital zoom, photo fix and photo light features, picture blogging, video light, and video recording capabilities. Additionally, Sony Ericsson’s S302 boasts a 2″ TFT screen, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, FM Radio, Access NetFront browser, 20 mb of internal memory, and a Memory Stick Micro expansion slot. Sony Ericsson is having some trouble keeping upcoming announcements under wraps. Above is the Sony Ericsson F305 Gaming Phone, a quad-band GSM phone. It has EDGE, a Memory Stick Micro slot, a 2 inch 176×220 display, music playback, an accelerometer for gaming, and gaming dedicated buttons. Nevertheless, gaming phones have never really taken off, probably because they lack the hardware to perform as well as users would like. Read more here!

Sony Ericsson really let the cat out of the bag with this one! Codenamed “Shihou,” pictures and stats of this amazing slider phone have been leaked way before the official announcement. Allegedly, the Sony Ericsson C905 has a 8.1 megapixel camera with xenon AND LED flashes, GPS, TV out, DLNA certification, and HSDPA! Wow! The only downside is that the screen is QVGA. But since the C905 is so amazing, I’ll still be looking forward to the official announcement of this phone on June 17th. When the Sony Ericsson C905 drops in Q4, it will be available in gold, silver, and black. Price is currently unknown.

The FCC recently approved two new phones from Sony Ericsson. First, the C902 is a candybar phone with a five megapixel camera that has facial recognition and autofocus. Additionally, the C902 boasts quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). It also has ActiveSync, a Memory Stick Micro card slot, and Nokia’s task switcher button.

The R300 isn’t nearly as glitzy. Targeted for developing nations, the R300 has a 1.8 inch colour display, a VGA camera, built-in AM/FM radio, and Sony Ericsson’s TrackID application. Currently, there’s no word on the release date or price of these phones, but I’ll be sure to keep you up to date. Read more here!

If you squint really closely, you might be able to make out the details of Sony Ericsson’s up and coming Z780 flip phone. Some features include a 240×320 pixel QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, and NetFront 3.4 browser. We also know that the Z80 is available in Amethyst Silver or Grand Onyx. Allegedly, there will be location-based service (perhaps even integrated GPS). Finally, the Z780 will be available in two versions: the Z780i for Europe and the Z780a for North America. No word on pricing or launch date yet, but I’d imagine the launch date being no later than quarter four of 2008.

If you want a phone that probably no one else has, look to the Sony Ericsson Z555. With a reflective flip cover, a 1.9″ LCD internal display, a 128×36 pixel OLED external display, a 1.3 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom, 12 mb of internal memory, and Bluetooth, the Z555 is perfect for any would-be trend setter.
