Effective immediately, any Netflix customers with unlimited plans will be able to download an unlimited number of movie rentals per month. Currently, Netflix boasts over 6,000 movies and shows available for download (compared with the over 90,000 titles that are available by mail). Yet, this number is sure to increase rapidly to keep up with consumer interest. This may be the last nail in the coffin of traditional movie renting; although Blockbuster tried to keep up to Netflix through Blockbuster Online, only a rival online download plan will save them now. Netflix continues to revolutionize the media industry. With a starting price of $8.99 for unlimited movie rental downloads, Netflix is sure to gain a huge number of new users.
Sony has been showing off world-changing technology: a bendable OLED tv that’s so thin you could fit it in your pocket! This TV screen is 2.5 inches wide, and an amazing 3 mm thick. While bending, the Sony TV still shows a perfect picture. There are so many ways to use this bendable TV: some as frivolous as having TVs on t-shirts, and some as serious as military applications. Currently, however, this is only a concept idea.
