I am sick of people posting crap, especially on Ebay trying to get people to believe the gold & black are worth thousands. They were originally sold in the D&G boutiques for the equivalent of $750 US, not $3,000. They are not made of gold. They are EXACTLY the same as their newer black & silver counterparts. The ONLY physical difference between the two is the black & gold vs. the black & silver, & the serial number is engraved in the back of the black & gold. Other than those two differences, THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME. I have the newer one and my mom has the older one. The software on the new one is a bit better. So actually the black & silver would be the superior phone. I DO NOT SEE ANY ADVANTAGES IN APPEARANCE OR QUALITY IN THE BALCK & GOLD VERSION. Both phones have the same liquid gold front facia, same gold painted plastic bottom & lower back & same painted gold aluminum rear cover. They look at feel EXACTLY the same.
