My friend just recently gave me hers, and it plays music fine, but when I want to play a recording I made, I go to it and press play. The problem is it freezes on me and it won't do anything. It won't play. What should I do?

This device is crap. Fortunately I got it for free from a friend --- now I see why it was free. I use it for its internal storage as a USB flash drive. It frequently cuts out in the middle of transfers, even small files. It disconnects, the drive disappears, I cannot access it, and it doesn't reappear for a while.

I can download things to it but I have to be quick and I have to get only a handful before it disconnects arbitrarily. Not worth the money --- get one for free from a friend if you can, and then rob somebody of 100 dollars with it. Easiest scam ever.

HI ,I have the firmware for ILO, 1gb, plus a couple of trix to fix the device, for thoses of you who aren't afraid to open it, you could replace the push button who are really "fragile". Mine is 2yr old and I had to fix it a lot. When uploading new song, you probably need to re-format and redo the sync in media player. All other feature works well, and keep in mind that 1gb for less than 100$, have to come with some "cheap" features. Plus, you could put a 2-3gb card in it to boost your memory.

Any question are welcome since the Siren company will probably not anser your email.: patcouriel75@hotmail.com

my on/off switch broke.the button pushed the switch to far inside and knocked it off of the circuit board.(i opened it to see what happened).mine turns on when plugged in to pc withe the usb cord. i can turn it on in my car using my cell phone charger because luckily it has the same size plug-in. to shut it off set the power setting for it to go off when idle for 1-minute, so when you hit stop the unit will turn off in a minute
