The LED HDTV that Samsung showed at the CES had a 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio and a 3D Digital Comb filter. The Samsung website now lists the Contrast Ratio as 4,000:1, and it says that the HDTV has a 3-Line Digital Comb Filter, which is not quite as good as the 3D Digital Comb Filter. I waited a long time for a HDTV as good as the one that Samsung showed at the CES, and I know I am not alone, because Samsung received the Award for Best TV. However, if Samsung is not willing to release that HDTV with its original specifications, then I am not willing to pay over $4,000 for it! Samsung needs to make sure that they release HL-S5679W with its original specifications of a 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio with a 3D-Digital Comb Filter, or else I will not purchase it!
