Outrageously overpriced for a Toshiba product! My own experience and that of an associate, is that Toshiba products are of very dubious quality — and that is an understatement!! Six weeks after purchasing a Toshiba laptop, the motherboard had to be replaced! My associate had the same problem with his Toshiba laptop and was told it would cost about $850 dollars to replace just the part. Now, this same Toshiba laptop requires a new battery at a Toshiba price of $170 (I understand there is a class action lawsuit related to this model and unrelated to the problem of batteries catching on fire!). “Caveat emptor” and be forewarned: do not be misled into thinking that Toshiba is synonomous with quality!!
